Run My Auction is simple, easy to use, powerful auction software for running your local auction. This software was developed for running on-site auctions. This is not an on-line auction software package.

The old way: an auction items lot numbers are written down in a list on a piece of paper. Bidders are given bidder numbers, their information is hand written on paper and a paper folder is created for them. As auction items are sold, the bidder and winning bid information is written down by hand. Someone finds the bidders folder and writes in the item and the winning bid. At the end of the auction, all the bidders come up to the check-out counter. The bidders folder is found. Items in their folder are added up and hand receipt is written. The line grows, the bidders become impatient.

The new way: With Run My Auction, auction items and their lot numbers are imported into the database. Bidders are entered into a bidders database as they come in. As items sell, a notation is made in their record in the database. At the end of the auction, all the bidders come up to the check-out counter. Their bidder number is looked up in the database and at the press of a button, Run My Auction compiles a list of the items won by the bidder with the winning bid on each item, adds the bids together (adds tax if applicable) and prints out a receipt. No hand writing. No manual addition.
